The British Council selected us as winners of their Sustainable Fashion contest and we are beyond honoured and thankful for the exciting opportunity of participating in their emerging designers empowering program.
Paying tribute to UK’s tradition about supporting new designers and being on the edge of fashion the British Council is committed to promote Sustainability as the most important trend in the industry.
The British institution started a 3 year program in 2015 where they have organized multiple events around the globe in order to spread awareness through empowering emerging fashion designers and connect them to global fashion leaders.
They reached us with the exciting news of being selected as winner brand of their Sustainable Fashion contest this year and they invited us to participate in the workshop organized in Athens in collaboration with Atopos and Fashion Revolution.
Last week we could joined them in their amazing British Fashion Night, welcomed their team in our studio to share our work and travel to Athens to participate in a super interesting talks and workshop weekend where we could meet global sustainability leaders such as Orsola de Castro and Alice Holmberg.
We also enjoyed Athens, got overwhelmed by all its history and try the best tzatziki in town 🙂
